About Zanos

Following a corporate career spanning almost 20 years with Bush Boake Allen, Henkel, Bunzl and Amersham International, Zanos was formed by Julian Sarkar in 2000 to bring together best knowledge, networks and experience of the speciality chemicals, flavour and fragrance markets.

Zanos concentrates on three primary activities:

• Sourcing
• Distribution
• Consultancy

As a result of having spent many years working in the Chemical Industry, Zanos employees and associates have established an extensive network of contacts covering many market sectors across a wide geographical area.

Whilst having a primary focus on the flavour and fragrance businesses, Zanos is also active in a range of other areas including:

-       speciality plastics additives

-       food ingredients

-       cosmetic ingredients

-       pharmaceutical intermediates

-       agrochemical intermediates

-       denaturants and aversives

Zanos has been actively working in many parts of the world, including China, India, Western and Central Europe and the USA.

The strength and breadth of experience means that Zanos can readily find sources of many products and either incorporate them into the range of standard products held in stock or develop new sources in conjunction with its client base.
